Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally released under the name Spoke before a trademark dispute forced a title change, Joey Burns and John Convertino's debut firmly established their 'desert noir' sound. The deeply atmospheric, lo-fi Americana seamlessly blends dusty folk rock with traditional Tejano and mariachi influences.
