'The Black Light' is a cinematic and mellow exploration of Americana and desert rock. Calexico beautifully integrates Mariachi, Tex-Mex, and spaghetti western influences into a warm, largely instrumental soundscape that captures the vast, atmospheric stillness of the American Southwest.
