Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Ancient Dreams' solidifies Candlemass as pioneers of epic doom metal, leaning heavily into slow, crushing tempos and grandiose riffing. Messiah Marcolin鈥檚 operatic vocals soar above the melancholic, Black Sabbath-inspired instrumentation, delivering dark lyrical narratives steeped in fantasy and occultism.
