Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded inside an extinct volcano in Hawaii, this collaboration captures the guitarist's transition away from his early Latin-rock success toward more expansive jazz-rock fusion. The performance is dominated by long, percussive jams and Miles' heavy, soulful drumming, representing a fleeting but high-energy summit of two early 70s rock giants.
