Album Notes & Community Reviews

Independently produced and released, 'Hopelessly in Love' became a massive grassroots phenomenon, cementing Carroll Thompson as the undisputed 'Queen of Lovers Rock'. The album's lush arrangements and deeply soulful vocal performances perfectly capture the romantic, heavily syncopated reggae sound that dominated early 80s London.
