My Light, My Massage Parlor

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stepping entirely away from her acclaimed indie-folk songwriting, Cassandra Jenkins offers a purely meditative, instrumental suite rooted in neoclassical new age aesthetics. The project weaves extremely calm, smooth synthesizer beds with gentle spoken word elements and pristine nature recordings. It functions as a deeply peaceful, spiritual auditory sanctuary meant to invoke a profound sense of leisure and healing.
