Album Notes & Community Reviews

Chan Marshall largely abandoned her organic, guitar-driven indie folk sound for her ninth studio album, embracing synthesizers and drum machines. Entirely self-produced and recorded across multiple cities, the record offers a remarkably upbeat, eclectic, and defiant electronic-pop reinvention.
