Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Sacrifice Poles were Cave In's alter ego, an instrumental project assembled from the Boston band's improvised rehearsal-room practice tapes. Edited into loose, echoing space rock and post-rock pieces, the recordings document the group's private experiments with repetition and texture, conducted in parallel with their metallic hardcore work.
