Biography
Cave In is a pioneering American rock band formed in 1995 in Methuen, Massachusetts. Initially a major force in the late-90s metalcore scene with their landmark album 'Until Your Heart Stops', the band famously evolved their sound. Their 2000 album 'Jupiter', released on #Hydra Head Records#, showcased a dramatic shift towards space rock and post-hardcore, blending heavy, dissonant riffs with atmospheric melody. After a major label stint with #RCA Records# for the more accessible 'Antenna', the band has continued to explore the spectrum of their sound, from heavy prog to alternative rock, cementing their legacy as an influential and unpredictable force in heavy music.
