Album Notes & Community Reviews

Riding the unprecedented global success of her previous albums, the 'Barefoot Diva' delivered another breathtaking collection of traditional Cape Verdean music. The incredibly warm, acoustic-driven arrangements gracefully highlight 脡vora's rich, melancholic vocal delivery, effortlessly conveying the profound 'sodade' (longing) that defines the Morna genre.
