Album Notes & Community Reviews

The acoustic, Cape Verdean morna style of the 'Barefoot Diva' reached new international audiences with this beautiful, melancholic release. Her rich, highly emotive vocals effortlessly convey feelings of longing and diaspora over gentle, traditional acoustic instrumentation.
