PUNK

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Japanese quartet violently subverts societal expectations of 'kawaii' (cute) culture through a wildly energetic, technicolor fusion of dance-punk and indie pop. The album is incredibly upbeat, utilizing bouncy basslines, shouted group vocals, and heavily distorted synthesizers to promote a fierce message of body positivity and self-acceptance. It brought them significant international acclaim and high-profile touring opportunities.
