Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stepping away from the frantic, high-octane punk energy of their breakout releases, the Japanese quartet fully embraces a remarkably smooth, laid-back blend of 1990s R&B, house music, and city pop. Influenced by their time listening to mellow hip-hop while touring the US, the record focuses heavily on self-love and cozy domesticity over slick, heavily synthesized grooves. It showcases a highly confident, relaxed evolution of their self-described 'neo-kawaii' aesthetic.
