Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released as a split album by the prestigious Sub Rosa label, this record pairs the visionary percussionist of This Heat with the Venetian ambient maestro Gigi Masin. Hayward鈥檚 contributions are stark, tense explorations of modern classical minimalism, while Masin鈥檚 side provides deeply melancholic, aquatic ambient piano loops. Together, it forms an evocative, highly atmospheric document of late-80s European avant-garde music.
