Album Notes & Community Reviews

A landmark of jazz as protest, this album features the uncensored version of 'Original Faubus Fables,' a scathing, satirical attack on the segregationist Arkansas Governor Orval Faubus. It's a definitive statement from the jazz avant-garde, inextricably linking musical freedom with the fight for social justice.
