Album Notes & Community Reviews

The legendary acoustic bassist leads his nostalgic Quartet West through a deeply romantic homage to 1940s film noir and classic Hollywood. 'Haunted Heart' seamlessly interweaves the quartet's lush, modern cool jazz interpretations with vintage vocal samples from Billie Holiday and Jo Stafford. The evocative, cinematic album earned significant acclaim for its elegant atmosphere and masterful, understated musicianship.
