To Love

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The mastermind behind the legendary French Zeuhl band Magma stepped away from complex rhythmic bombast to deliver a deeply intimate, spiritual jazz vocal album. Heavily influenced by the phrasing of John Coltrane, Vander's passionate singing creates a profoundly melancholic and nocturnal atmosphere. It reveals a surprisingly vulnerable and surreal dimension to his compositional genius.
