Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring lyrics penned entirely by a young Jean-Michel Jarre, 'Les mots bleus' is a towering achievement in 1970s French pop music. Christophe's ethereal, high-register vocals drift over lush, heavily synthesized arrangements that blur the line between romantic chanson and progressive rock. The title track remains one of the most enduring and beloved anthems in French musical history.
