Biography
French singer-songwriter, born Daniel Bevilacqua, whose ballad 'Aline' (1965) was one of the great French hits of the 1960s and returned to the top of the charts in a 1979 revival. The 1970s albums 'Les Paradis perdus' and 'Les Mots bleus' reinvented him as an art-pop auteur with a taste for synthesizers and nocturnal glamour. He died in Brest in 2020, still recording.
