Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating under his drag persona, former Women frontman Patrick Flegel creates a deeply unsettling yet beautiful homage to classic 1960s girl-group pop. Heavily inspired by the tragic life of Karen Carpenter, the record buries sweet, melodic songwriting beneath thick layers of abrasive noise, static, and lo-fi distortion. It acts as a haunting exploration of isolation, fame, and gender performativity.
