Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating heavily outside the aggressive guitar confines of his primary band, The Wedding Present, David Gedge expands his lush, orchestral side project. 'Disco Volante' is deeply cinematic, utilizing prominent string sections and flutes to support Gedge's signature wry, hyper-romantic indie-pop songwriting. The album serves as a sophisticated, beautifully arranged homage to 1960s film scores and European pop.
