Releasing his second major project of the year, the Memphis artist pushes his lo-fi, hypnagogic sound to even murkier extremes. The album is an immersive, largely instrumental collage of dusty soul loops and fragmented jazz, sporadically punctuated by his heavily reverbed, stream-of-consciousness rap deliveries.
