Album Notes & Community Reviews
Following the acrimonious departure of their original frontman, multi-instrumentalist Erik Wunder recruited Lord Mantis vocalist Charlie Fell for this ferocious comeback double album. The massive, 84-minute record shifts slightly away from black metal into a relentlessly driving, rhythmic exploration of progressive sludge. Fell's unhinged, agonizing screams perfectly match the suffocatingly dark, misanthropic instrumental weight.
