Album Notes & Community Reviews

Coil’s debut full-length album is a terrifying, highly transgressive exploration of industrial noise, alchemy, and esoteric sexual themes. The record utilizes incredibly harsh, mechanical tape loops, dark ambient synthesizers, and unsettling vocal samples to build a profoundly ominous, ritualistic atmosphere. 'Scatology' is an avant-garde, deeply disturbing, and cryptic cornerstone of the 80s post-industrial underground.
