Album Notes & Community Reviews
Produced by Donny Hathaway, the sophomore release from this explosive San Francisco collective significantly tightened their brass-heavy funk-rock sound. The incredibly muscular, deeply grooving instrumental backing serves as the perfect vehicle for Lydia Pense's astonishingly powerful, Janis Joplin-esque rhythm and blues vocal performances.
