Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating as one of his final robust studio statements, 'Wrapped Tight' features the foundational tenor saxophonist accompanied by a vibrant, multi-generational band. The Impulse! session beautifully juxtaposes his massive, classic swing-era tone with relatively modern, relaxed cool jazz arrangements.
