Album Notes & Community Reviews

Wire frontman Colin Newman released his debut solo album shortly after the band's initial dissolution, expanding their angular post-punk into increasingly surreal, heavily synthesized territory. 'A-Z' is a deeply dark, incredibly anxious, and highly atmospheric art-punk exploration, balancing mechanical rhythms with a remarkably cold, nocturnal sense of isolation.
