Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Angry With The Sun' is a landmark 1998 release from the Belgian band Congress and a defining document of the H8000 hardcore scene. The album is built upon a fusion of thrash, death metal, and hardcore, creating a punishing 'edge metal' sound. Its raw and aggressive production complements the band's intricate, metallic songwriting and harsh vocals, which deliver lyrical themes veiled in apocalyptic imagery and cryptic metaphors.
