Album Notes & Community Reviews

Subtitled 'Through the Stargate', 'Novus Magnificat' is a single 54-minute work in two parts for digital orchestra and choral voices, built from real instruments sampled on an Emulator II with additional textures by Michael Stearns. Co-produced by Demby and Anna Turner as one of the young Hearts of Space label's first releases, it is a foundational document of space music, its long-form synthesizer textures and choral writing defining the record's cosmic scale.
