A drastic stylistic pivot for the notoriously unpredictable New York collective, abandoning their harsh power electronics for sweeping, melancholic neo-classical darkwave. The ethereal vocal arrangements and dark, martial industrial percussion evoke the atmosphere of an abandoned medieval cathedral. The grandiose, atmospheric production signaled a highly successful new creative direction for the group.
