Album Notes & Community Reviews

Further cementing their massive transition away from crossover thrash, the North Carolina quartet delivered an incredibly dense, groove-heavy masterclass in Southern metal. Pepper Keenan's gritty vocals and the band's massive, Sabbath-inspired riffing are perfectly polished by producer John Custer, heavily exploring dark Biblical themes. The critically acclaimed recording notably features a highly publicized guest vocal appearance from Metallica's James Hetfield.
