Album Notes & Community Reviews

Translating the defining hits of the British Invasion into a swinging big band context, this album is a prime example of 1960s jazz pop crossover. The arrangements maintain the melodic integrity of the original compositions while injecting them with Basie's signature rhythmic drive.
