Album Notes & Community Reviews

Pairing a rising Italian-American crooner with one of the most famously hard-swinging big bands in history, this collaboration successfully merges brassy firepower with smooth, pop-oriented vocal delivery. Ralph Sharon's sharp arrangements provide a propulsive backdrop that pushes the singer into exceptionally rhythmic, buoyant territory. The session stands as a defining cross-pollination of the era's mainstream pop and robust jazz traditions.
