Album Notes & Community Reviews

Firmly worshiping at the altar of classic Black Sabbath, the Swedish trio's sophomore album is a monolithic slab of traditional doom. 'Destruction of the Void' features crawling, detuned riffs and Dan Fondelius's distinctly Ozzy-esque vocal wails. The record's heavy, pessimistic atmosphere helped keep the flame of pure, unadulterated doom metal alive during the rise of extreme death and black metal.
