Album Notes & Community Reviews
Seeking to expand their famously intimate, whisper-quiet sound, the Canadian alt-country pioneers enlisted producer John Leckie for their Geffen Records debut. The resulting album features more robust, arena-leaning rock arrangements and prominent string sections, providing a denser backdrop for Margo Timmins' consistently haunting vocals.
