Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Canadian alt-country pioneers notably increase their volume and distortion on their fifth studio album. 'Pale Sun, Crescent Moon' pushes the Cowboy Junkies' signature melancholic, slowcore-adjacent sound into heavier, occasionally psychedelic alternative rock territory.
