Inspired by Clive Barker's novel 'Cabal', the British extreme metal outfit crafted an incredibly bombastic, highly theatrical conceptual work centered on an underground society of monsters. The record features a notably polished production, leaning heavily into lush symphonic keyboards, gothic choirs, and spoken-word narration by actor Doug Bradley.
