Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in the tumultuous aftermath of Danny Whitten's declining health, 'Loose' finds the legendary backing band attempting to solidify their own identity as primary songwriters. The sessions lean heavily into laid-back, harmony-driven country rock, though noticeably lacking the fiery guitar exchanges that defined their work with Neil Young. It remains a poignant, transitional document of a group struggling to find its footing amid profound internal strife.
