Cristian Vogel's debut full-length, 'Beginning to Understand' preceded his signing to Berlin's Tresor, where he became the first British techno artist on the label's roster. Vogel had recorded his earlier 'Infra' EP at the University of Sussex studio, where he studied twentieth-century music under Martin Butler and Jonathan Harvey.
