Album Notes & Community Reviews

The sophomore and final studio effort from the New York crossover pioneers marks a significant shift towards complex, highly technical thrash metal. Moving away from the raw simplicity of their hardcore punk origins, the intricate guitar work and extended song structures alienated some purists while earning respect from the heavy metal community. The introspective, urban-focused lyricism reflects the intense, high-pressure environment of the era's East Coast metal scene.
