Album Notes & Community Reviews

The deeply pessimistic British anti-folk duo delivers a surprisingly intricate and rhythmically complex album that occasionally flirts with math rock structures. The highly sarcastic, deeply introspective acoustic tracks focus heavily on political disillusionment and agonizing self-hatred. Retaining their incredibly raw DIY aesthetic, the release further cemented their cult status within the modern internet-born folk punk community.
