Album Notes & Community Reviews
Following the sudden mainstream success of their debut and the romantic dissolution of the core duo, Madeline Follin and Brian Oblivion recorded this melancholic follow-up. 'Static' retains their signature 1960s girl-group homage but buries the sweet, Wall of Sound melodies under a hazier, more cynical layer of cinematic indie pop production.
