Bar Maldoror

Recorded during the deeply occult and esoteric early phase of David Tibet's primary musical vehicle, this release is an exercise in suffocating atmosphere. 'Bar Maldoror' utilizes extensive tape manipulation, chilling choral samples, and low-frequency drones to create a relentlessly bleak, ritualistic soundscape. The intensely dark industrial work significantly predates the apocalyptic folk acoustic style the group would later become famous for.
