Album Notes & Community Reviews
Stepping entirely away from their signature acoustic neofolk style, David Tibet's collective delivered a deeply unsettling, purely experimental dark ambient piece. Originally created as an alternative soundtrack to the 1926 silent film 'Faust', the album consists of terrifying, repetitive tape loops and heavily manipulated, ghostly vocal samples.
