Departing from their abrasive neofolk roots, 'Soft Black Stars' is a breathtakingly minimalistic and soft piano-led album from Current 93. David Tibet delivers incredibly poetic and melancholic meditations on longing and spirituality, resulting in a bittersweet and lonely singer-songwriter masterpiece.
