Album Notes & Community Reviews

Blending their Caribbean roots with the burgeoning London funk scene, this brilliant British ensemble created a stunningly unique, remarkably laid-back groove. 'Cymande' is a wonderfully warm, deeply spiritual funk-soul classic, utilizing highly rhythmic, beautifully mellow Afro-jazz and Nyahbinghi percussion to forge a profoundly peaceful, gently psychedelic atmosphere.
