Album Notes & Community Reviews

'En Bas du Ch锚ne Vert' was recorded in Lafayette, Louisiana, on 13 November 1976, uniting fiddler Dewey Balfa, accordionist Marc Savoy and guitarist D.L. Menard in a single session of traditional Cajun music. Menard's wife Louella co-wrote the title song, and the album has come to be regarded as one of the finest documents of the Cajun tradition.
