Album Notes & Community Reviews
On 'Brilliance of a Falling Moon', D盲lek continues its unflinching documentation of societal decay through monolithic slabs of industrial hip-hop. The album constructs a psychedelic malaise with unchanging, low-end-heavy beats that are gradually subsumed by layers of abrasive noise, creating a sonic parallel to a numbing 24-hour news cycle. MC Will Brooks' steadfast lyricism confronts global chaos and class war, his vocals cutting through the dense, repetitive dirges that mark another chapter in the group's pioneering, genre-averse sound.
