Album Notes & Community Reviews

The highly anticipated sophomore effort builds upon the intense, emotional intimacy of his debut with darker, more sprawling acoustic arrangements. The vocal interplay between Rice and Lisa Hannigan remains a crucial focal point, adding profound emotional depth to the themes of romantic dysfunction. Despite the lush string orchestration, the core of the music remains deeply raw and confessional.
