Biography
Damien Rice, born in Dublin in 1973, is an Irish singer-songwriter who left the band Juniper, busked across Europe and home-recorded the debut 'O' (2002), whose songs 'The Blower's Daughter' and 'Cannonball' became standards. After '9' (2006) he returned from a long silence with 'My Favourite Faded Fantasy' (2014). His intense, hushed live shows, built on loops and cello, are the stuff of singer-songwriter legend.
